Why an app?
Studying at the Rockacademy in Tilburg (The Netherlands), I learned about Gary Chesters The New Breed. Every day, I challenged myself with his reading material to explore new systems*. Although I really enjoyed the educative approach, I also experienced the drawbacks when studying from a book:
- The amount of patterns is very limited
- The reading order is always the same
- There's no convinient way to filter out irrelevant patterns

Studying with an app:
+ Guarantees the whole rhythmic vocabulary
+ Challenges your sight reading every single time
+ Makes it easy to organize patterns by using filters
